Cacao + Yin New Moon Ceremony

I'm so excited to offer a sacred New Moon ceremony with Cacao + Yin Yoga - two of my favorite things! 

What is a "New Moon"? - During a new moon, the sky goes dark. Think of it like a blank canvas to create. In “nothingness” we have limitless possibilities. New Moons are all about new starts. The September New Moon in Libra (Libra is an Air sign that governs communication, the exchange of information or ideas, and balance) and will lead us into fall/autumn beginnings and finishing the year strong. It's a great time for setting intentions, making wishes, and taking the first courageous step towards a new goal. We will meditate and journal and consider what we desire to manifest. 

What is Cacao? Cacao is a powerful plant medicine known as the "Food of the Gods". It has many medicinal properties such as: one of the most dense superfoods, the highest source of magnesium on the planet, and it contains beneficial neurotransmitters and neuro-modulators already present in our brain like seratonin and dopamine. Energetically - we work with Cacao to open the heart chakra - the heart expands, emotional walls dissolve, and you may find that you can more easily tap into your emotions and move them through to continue your healing and life journey. 

What is Yin Yoga? Yin is a slower-paced, more meditative yoga practice based on ancient Chinese philosophies and Taoist principles which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. By stretching and deepening into poses, holding and breathing for longer periods of time, we’re opening up blockages and releasing that energy to flow freely. Yin is associated with femininity, receptivity, and the moon. This soft and intimate way of practicing yoga encourages you to connect with your body, emotions, and all the sensations.

This will be a safe + sacred space to explore and release and prepare for the upcoming months ahead. Journey with me to the moon 🌚 Must lock in your ticket by Sept 11th to get your Cacao in time for class!
